Exploring the World and It's People Grade 5 students will develop a sense of world-mindedness through the exploration of global demographics/data using David Smith’s If the World Were a Village.Collaborative groups will examine a topic presented in the story through journaling and mathematical representations.Groups will share their experiences through a video or video-embedded powerpoint that presents their graphical depiction of data and analysis, along with excerpts from their journals.
